audio pictures: olympic torch protest
click to play slideshowThis volume of audio pictures focuses on the recent Olympic Torch Protest that happened San Francisco. Though I never saw the torch because they changed the route due to the large numbers of protesters gathered in downtown. I was able to get some great pictures of the people that were there to see the event or protest it.
Chants like “Stop the killing in Tibet“, “Shame on China“, and “China lies, people die“, could be heard all around. Debate between Pro-China and Anti-China demonstrators was intense, as I buzzed around the groups taking photos and recording audio of them.
It was a good day to see and capture such an outpouring of expression from both sides. I tried to stay in the middle of it, catching both views.
